Typolyrics
Formidable by French artist Stromae sounds like a drunken rambling of a heartbroken man. This series of typographic compositions visualises the feelings that the song evokes through hand lettering, ink bleeds and repetition. Using type as image, Graphik as a constant secondary typeface, and a monochrome palette, the triptych explores unique representations of gloom and unrequited love.
